Lights "dim" when air conditioner comes on??

Lately when our air comes on, we have noticed that our lights dim (quite a bit)..our voltage meter shows no voltage drop when this happens...the lights stay dim from 5 to 10 seconds before returning to normal brightness. Any ideas??? Thanks...

RE: Anyone try substituting recliners for sofa/bed?

We removed our bed from our 23' TT...it left a nice "platform" to put in 2 recliners (my wife and I spend several days looking for the perfect fit)...we now have that "comfortable" spot to look forward to...watching TV, reading, and sleeping..(they recline almost flat)...been using these for 16 months now as we are full timing and having a ball, and no back problems like we used to have.

RE: Carlisle trailer tires

Don't know about Carlisles, but I did take my Chinese "Nankings" off our new TT 2 years ago and had LT Toyo's put on. When the tire shop was making the switch, I had a chance to feel the sidewalls on both the ST Nankings and the LT Toyo's...all I can say is that the government standards on ST tires must be pretty easy..the sidewalls on the ST Nankings felt pretty weak and flimsy compared to the much stiffer and thicker LT Toyo's that I had put on. We just got back from a year long 15 state, 21,000 adventure without any tire problems and no noticable wear. Oh yeah, we are not necessarily pitching TOYO tires, just the closest tire shop sold these and I heard the quality was good.

RE: HELP RV Park in Fort Smith AR?

There is a Corp of Engineers park in Barling, which is next to Ft. Smith going East. We stayed there last year...nice park with fishing...electric/water at site...dump station nearby...of course priced way below commerical RV parks.

RE: 2004 Yukon XL, 5.3L, 3.73, tow in 3rd gear?

Leave it in 3rd...no difference in gas milage but a lot easier on the transmission. I have a similiar tow vehicle...5.3, 3.73 Silverado towing #7000 travel trailer.

RE: RGV Entertainment

badgerfan...I believe you are taking about the auditions held at Snow to Sun RV resort in Mercedes, Tx in January. Last year was my 1st year in the valley entertaining and I did the Snow to Sun thing...lots of activity directors there...good place to check out the "new" entertainers in town, even some "Branson" entertainers were there trying out...if you need more info email me and I can give you more detailed info.
